Jemez Pottery Wedding Vase - Handmade polychrome wedding vase with feather designs. This hand built vase is heavy and thick-walled - a common feature of Jemez pottery and features nice symmetry and design. The piece is signed by the artist, AW, for Angela Waquie of Jemez Pueblo, New Mexico.

This Jemez pottery wedding vase measures approx. 8.5" high (top of handle) x 5" wide

About the artist: Angela Waquie is a member of the Jemez Pueblo and was born 11-1-1946. She has been creating pottery since 1984 and learned the art from her grandmother. She enjoys building the pots and then painting them.
